MICROSOFT: Xbox exclusive ScreamRide is like a twisted RollerCoaster Tycoon

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox franchise, ScreamRide.

Created by Frontier Developments and Microsoft Studios, ScreamRide is a sci-fi themed theme park creator, somewhat like PC stalwart RollerCoaster Tycoon.

In ScreamRide, players will aim to terrify visitors by flinging coaster trains and other rides across the sky and into obstacles – just like everybody did in RollerCoaster Tycoon anyway.

The game will include destructible environments, with physics-based crumbling buildings shown.

ScreamRide will come to Xbox exclusively in Spring 2015, with Xbox head Phil Spencer referring to the title as a ‘new franchise’ for the platform.
