MineCon 2015 heads to London this summer

Mojang has announced the return of its Minecraft fan convention MineCon for 2015, and London will play host.

The recently acquired Microsoft studio reveals the event will take place July 4th and 5that the ExCeL London Exhibition and Conference Centre,with 10,000 tickets going on sale later this month in two batches of 5,000 on the same day.

Those who purchase tickets will be granted access to a discounted hotel booking system as well.

Exhibitors are encouraged to contact Mojang with requests for booth space, and panelist hopefuls will be able to submit their ideas next month.

The first official MineCon in 2011 took place in Las Vegas, followed by MineCon 2012 in Paris and the most recent MineCon in Orlando two years ago.
