E3'09: Rez creator's Q Entertainment signed for secret project

Mizuguchi developing ‘Codenamed Eden’ with Ubisoft

Ubisoft has signed a new creative deal with Tetsuya Mizuguchi and his Japanese company Q Entertainment.

Mizuguchi is best known as the creator of Sega Rally, and his more recent work on music games like Lumines and Rez.

Formats, genre and an exact game for the title the two are working on was not named, except for the work in progress title ‘Codenamed Eden’.

Ubisoft’s Laurent Detoc did offer this, however: "We have decided to challenge innovation. We want to bring forward new sensory projects."

The news was announced at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference today.
