More evidence for COD: Vietnam

The rumours that Treyarch’s next Call of Duty title will be set in Vietnam have resurfaced once again after an unearthed document for an LA casting call made reference to the controversial ‘60s conflict.

VG247 has obtained a description of four key characters the makers of the game are looking to cast. According to the document, the first soldier – Frank Barnes – is a former CIA special forces agent who has been transferred to the Vietnamese SOG, or Studiies and Observations Group.

Three other characters are outlined with plenty of references to Russian undercover operatives. Note that split-settings are a common theme in the Call of Duty series.

No official statement has been made about the next Call of Duty title, other than the fact that there will be a new release for the series this year.
