MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and others going offline for good

Sony has announced some additional server shutdown that will see the online functionality of four titles gone for good.

The highest profile casualty is PS3 racer MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, which from October 1st will see its online modes inaccessible. The game was first released in 2008.

Three other games to be shut down online from that date – MotorStorm Arctic Edge, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 and The Eye of Judgement: Legends.

All affected titles will still be fully playable offline.

Previously decommissioned titles include PS3 outings MotorStorm, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Race Driver: GRID, The Eye of Judgement and The Lord of the Rings: Conquest.
