MS bundles digital Alan Wake

Microsoft has launched a new console bundle that for the first time features one of its triple-A retail releases in digital form.

Kotaku reports that a new Xbox 360 S 250GB SKU includes a traditional boxed copy of Forza 3 as well as a copy of psychological thriller Alan Wake pre-installed on the hard drive.

Also in the box is a headset and wireless joypad.

The only territories confirmed for launch so far are Canada and Korea. MCV has contacted Microsoft about European availability.

In other digital Microsoft news, this week also saw the release of Epic’s Gears of War 2 on the Xbox Live Games On Demand portal. The download is priced at 19.99.
