WiiMote Plus gets UK date

Nintendo has confirmed that the WiiMote Plus will be launched in Europe and the UK on November 5th.

That means European gamers will actually be able to get their hands on it before Japanese consumers, as it won’t be released in Japan until a week later.

The WiiMote Plus incorporates the previously external add-on Motion Plus, a peripheral that enhances the technical precision of the controller.

The new device is of the same dimensions as the existing WiiMote and works with all current accessories such as the Nunchuck and Classic controllers. It will launch in four colours – white, black, blue and pink.

Nintendo has also dated the first game to bundle the controller – FlingSmash. That will hit European retail on November 19th.
