UK studio exploring acquisition and publishing deals for external titles

nDreams nabs £1.75m investment for VR game development

nDreams has secured £1.75m in investment to continue expanding its plans for virtual reality game development.

The company aims to use the funding from investment business Mercia Technologies to explore publishing and acquisition deals for other VR titles.

nDreams currently has five of its own VR projects in development, including space combat title Gunner and adventure game The Assembly.

“We’re delighted to be strengthening our relationship with the Mercia team, and their support allows us to continue grow the business more quickly and to finalise our launch titles ready for all major VR headsets,” said nDreams CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh.

“We plan to expand the company significantly and will be actively exploring both publishing and acquisition opportunities in 2015.”
