Crysis developer working with publishing giant on mystery upcoming title

New Crytek EA Partners deal, job listing suggests

Electronic Arts is collaborating with Crytek on an upcoming game through its partners program, a new job listing by the publishing giant suggests.

Spotted by AllGamesBeta, the ad states that EA is looking for a video editor to “embed with partner studio Crytek to provide inspiration and creative focus for the project team”.

It also said that knowledge of CryEngine would be an asset, whilst the role would also require relocation to Germany, or a willingness to work two weeks per month at the Frankfurt office.

EA has previously published the original Crysis and its sequel, which may point toward a third instalment in the franchise as currently in development.

Crysis 2 has sold more than three million units to date.
