New CVG team takes shape

Media company Future has confirmed its new management lineup at multiformat games website CVG with former MCV online editor and associate editor Tim Ingham taking charge as editor.

As part of the reshuffle John Houlihan becomes CVG’s first ever editor-in-chief. He has been working as Future’s web manager for gaming since 2006.

Both Ingham and Houlihan will work alongside associate publisher Mark Cantwell whilst popular industry face Gavin Ogden becomes CVG’s first ever international correspondent working from his new base in New Zealand.

I’m over the moon to be taking this fantastic opportunity at CVG – having read it as a youngster; I now get to be editor,” Ingham stated. I’m really looking forward to working with John and the rest of the hugely talented team to confirm CVG’s position as the UK’s leading consumer games news website.

Whilst I’m sad to be leaving MCV, I depart knowing the publication is stronger than ever across both print and online.”

Further appointments are expected at CVG later this month.
