NHL 2K heading to mobile platforms this fall

2K Games is resurrecting its NHL 2K franchise, bringing a full-featured” edition of the series to iOS and Android devices later this year.

The publisher details NHL 2K as a premium mobile title offering a full career mode, Free Skate, NHL Winter Classic, Shootout (including multiplayer) and three-on-three modes. The game will include controller support, live roster updates and NHL GameCenter integration as well.

The NHL 2K brand remains discontinued on other platforms for now, with NHL 2K11 the last title to launch on consoles.

NHL 2K is expected out later this fall for $7.99 on Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Amazon’s Appstore.
