Ninja Theory ready for Enslaved 2

Namco Bandai’s Enslaved finally hits UK retail this Friday and should it match commercially what it achieved critically the game’s developer Ninja Theory has said that it’s ready to get cracking on a sequel.

And the fact that the studio is already working on Capcom’s new Devil May Cry game won’t make a difference.

We’ve been growing into two teams for the last year,” Ninja Theory boss Tameen Antoniades told Eurogamer. We’ve got capacity to do two games.

The thinking from the beginning was not to assume there would be a sequel, just to put everything into this game. It’s a new IP so let’s not plan for a sequel because the chances are we’ll only disappoint ourselves.

So we mentally prepared for that – we’ve not planned for a sequel. But if it gains some traction, I’d like to see something happen.”
