No Platinum trophy for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes won’t offer players the chance to gain a Platinum Trophy on PS4 or PS3.

That’s because, as explained by creator Hideo Kojima on Twitter, Sony doesn’t allow for Platinum Trophies in budget releases. Ground Zeroes costs 19.99 on current-gen and 29.99 on next-gen.

What it does include are 13 Bronze Trophies, a single Silver Trophy and one Gold Trophy.

The game also includes a full suite of Achievements on Xbox, including a 250 Point award for clearing all the missions with an S Rank.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday (March 21st).
