OlliOlli 2 skating to PS4 and Vita in 2015

A sequel to 2D skateboarding title OlliOlli has been announced.

OlliOlli2, made by creators of the original Roll7, is currently pencilled in for a release on PS4 and Vita in 2015.

It’s visually a little different from its predecessor but offers similar action, albeit with an expanded feature set.

Manuals and reverts, which will be familiar to Tony Hawk veterans, now factor into the action as well, opening up the chance for longer combos.

It will also be one of the first games to make use of Sony’s new Share Play function, Eurogamer reports, allowing gamers to hand over gameplay duties to pals playing remotely on another PS4 system elsewhere – even if they don’t own a copy of the game themselves.

GameSpot adds that the exclusivity is timed, meaning Xbox One and PC releases are likely six months after its PlayStation debut.
