PC release date confirmed for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag won’t release alongside the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs.

Instead, it will hit retail on November 22nd – that’s the same day that the game will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U.

And yes, that means that Black Flag will be available a week before the PS4 itself. It shares a release day with Microsoft’s Xbox One hardware.

Assassin’s Creed fans on PC have become accustomed to longer waits than this before, so the simultaneous release date with the next-gen versions will be welcome news.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will hit Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 1st.
