Rare has announced an interesting piece of promotional cross-IP marketing with the confirmation of a special reward for Perfect Dark players.
The developer has confirmed that its recent Xbox Live release Perfect Dark already has within it a playable version of Crackdown 2’s lead character Agent 4. Anyone who next plays the game having already played Crackdown 2 will suddenly find that they have access to the character in all multiplayer modes.
It works by detecting whether a Crackdown 2 save file is present on the console’s HDD.
Crackdown 2 will be released in the UK next Friday (July 9th).
