Playstation Vue Mobile TV streaming app receives limited release for iPad devices

Sony’s TV streaming service Playstation Vue has begun rolling out to iPad devices, with the app being soft launched in select US cities.

Engadgetreports on the app’s arrival on the iTunes store. It makes good on the statements Sony made about an iPad version being in the works when the companyunveiled its PlayStation Vue servicelast November.

The US cities where the service is currently active are the same three that Vue itselfsoft launched in earlier this year: New York City, Philadelphia and Chicago.

No word on when Sony plans to expand availability, but more info could certainly emerge at some point during E3 next week.
