PS3 Essentials out this week; India pricing confirmed

The first-party line-up of PS3 Essentials will be in stores across India by this weekend, Sony has confirmed.

The Essentials is a budget line-up that consists of older, popular PS3 games re-released at lower prices and with a distinctive cover art.

Sony has confirmed that the line-up will be priced at Rs 1,199 in stores in India.

Several Essentials titles were also added to PSN in this week’s PlayStation Store update, and all of them are priced between Rs 749 and Rs 999, lower than the boxed releases.

While we’re awaiting the list of Essentials titles set to hit stores this week, here are the games that are available digitally on the PlayStation Store:

  • Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood: Rs 999

  • James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game: Rs 999

  • Medieval Moves (PlayStation Move required): Rs 999
  • ModNation Racers: Rs 849
