PS4 price cut confirmed, kicks in today

Sony has confirmed that 50 is being lopped off the price of PS4 in the UK today.

The machine’s new RRP is 299.99, as per the rumours earlier this week and in line with the discounted price of the Uncharted Collection bundle that Sony told MCV at the time was a promotional price that will be available for a limited time”.

The price cut applies to the whole of Europe, where the RRP has now been reduced to €349.99. There are also new prices for Australia ($479.95), New Zealand ($569.95) and the United Arab Emirates (AED1399).
