PS4 to get exclusive GTA V content

Grand Theft Auto V is to receive exclusive content on PlayStation 4.

What this will actually entail is yet to be revealed, however.

Speaking to Kotaku, SCEA marketing VP John Koller said: I don’t think we announced anything publicly on that, but there will be.

I thinkGTA V is a title that did extremely well on the PlayStation 3. In fact the index rate swung well in PlayStation’s favor forGTA V, a lot of it because of the partnership we had with Rockstar.

We would expect that to happen here, too.GTAis a PlayStation franchise. It started with us. We really feel strongly that it belongs as a key platform driver for us.

"GTA Vis going to be, I think, a title we’ll talk about more in the weeks and months to come, butGTA Vand theGTAfranchise is something that will be something very special on PlayStation"

The next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V was announced at Sony’s conference earlier in the week. It is currently slated for an autumn release and is headed to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

This is the latest in a number of platform-exclusive content reveals this week at E3.

Sony has exclusive content for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, Batman: Arkham Knight, Destiny and Dead Island 2.

Microsoft on the other hand has timed exclusive deals on content for Dragon Age Inquisition,Call of Duty: Advanced Warfareand Evolve.
