Ratchet and Clank is launching in April 2016

Insomniac’s remake of the original Ratchet and Clank title is going to be hitting stores in early 2016.

The studio’s boss Ted Price took to the stage at PlayStation Experience and revealed the game would be coming out on April 12th, 2016.

This is shortly ahead of the launch of the film of the same name.

Price also showed off some gameplay from the start of the game. He said that the title features modern controls, new planets, improved gameplay and new arsenal.

New weapons include the Pixelator (which turns enemies and items into… voxels) and a new weapon which causes enemies to start dancing.
