Red Faction: Guerrilla sells 1m

As part of its Q1 financial report, THQ boss Brian Farrell has confirmed that Volition’s FPS sequel Red Faction: Guerrilla has passed the 1m sales mark worldwide.

Farrell also went to great lengths to highlight the publisher’s strong critical reception, with the Metacritic average of its titles now standing at 84 per cent – up from 80 per cent at the same stage last year,

Also in for a bit of praise was fighting sim UFC 2009: Undisputed. As a result of its strong sales, Farrell added that the publisher will launch UFC games on an annual basis” going forwards.
