Reliance to release Star Trek: The Video Game on 26th April

Star Trek: The Video Game, the upcoming co-op shooter featuring iconic characters Kirk and Spock, will be released in India this month by Reliance Home Video and Games.

The cover-based shooter is being developed by Digital Extremes (The Darkness 2) and features an original story by BAFTA Award-winning writer Marianne Krawczyk.

The game is based in the 23rd Century setting of the 20009 Star Trek film reboot, and takes place after the events of the movie. The stars of that film, including Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, are lending their voices to the game.

Star Trek is set to hit stores alongside its European release on 26th April for Xbox 360 and PS3 at an MRP of Rs 2,999.
