Resistance invades Vita in May

Burning Skies, the first Vita entry in the Resistance series, will be released in the UK this summer.

The European PlayStation Blog confirmed the game would land on shelves on May 30th, marking the arrival of what Sony calls "the world’s first portable dual-analog FPS".

Resistance: Burning Skies was first announced during Sony’s Gamescom press conference last August.

It is set during the 1951 Chimeran invasion of America’s east coast, with players donning the firefighter jacket of Tom Riley.

The game not only recreates console-like first-person shooter controls, it also makes use of the front and rear touch panels.
