Resistance Retribution dated

SCEE has revealed that Bend Studios’ PSP FPS Resistance Retribution will be released in Europe on March 13th,

Retribution is the first foray for the series on PSP – indeed, it is the first time Sony’s brand has appeared on any format other than PS3.

Unlike its console predecessors, Retribution is a third person title featuring new weapons, enemies and weapons. Using a third generation PSP game engine, the title promises visuals and performance a leap ahead of anything seen on the handheld to date.

Retribution will hope to mirror the success of Insomniac’s previous PS3 releases, Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, the first of which was a launch title whilst the latter arrived last November.
