PlayStation exclusive first revealed in 2013

Rime developer Tequila Works reacquires rights from Sony

Spanish studio Tequila Works could be set to bring its next game to multiple platforms.

The developer revealed Rime as a PlayStation exclusive at Gamescom in 2013, as a follow-up to its first game, 2012’s Deadlight for Xbox 360 and PC.

However, it has now succinctly revealed that it has brought back the rights to the title from Sony, suggesting a launch on PC and Xbox could be on the cards.

“Tequila Works has chosen to reacquire the rights to its adventure game, Rime, and is working hard to realise its aspirations for it,” it said.

Details of a new publisher for the game were not given.
