Rockstar sued by Lindsay Lohan over alleged Grand Theft Auto V likeness

Actress Lindsay Lohan is taking Rockstar to court.

The Associated Press reports that the Herbie: Fully Loaded, Mean Girls and Ugly Betty Star is alleging that Grand Theft Auto V character Lacey Jonas was unofficially based on her.

Lohan reckons the character is an "unequivocal" reference to her, depicting her image, style and voice. The threat to sue was first made last year.

If based on Lohan, the Jonas character certainly isn’t a flattering portrayal. In one mission players are tasked with driving her home while avoiding the paparazzi.

The GTA Wiki adds that the character hints at being anorexic, admits to spending millions of dollars in an attempt to lose her regional accent” and claims to have so many fans that they could fill the entire country of Africa”.
