Rockstar teases GTA5 story mode DLC for 2014

Rockstar Games has confirmed that it is working on single-player downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto 5 for 2014.

For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas,” the developer-publisher said in a blog post.

For Grand Theft Auto 4, Rockstar has based its two single-player expansions – Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony – on new characters, so it’s interesting that it’s sticking to the trio from the main game for GTA5 DLC. If GTA4 was anything to go by, we can also expect these expansions to be quite beefy in terms of content.

In the same blog post, Rockstar also said it was still working on polishing co-op heists for Grand Theft Auto Online, with more details to be revealed in the new year.
