SCEJ confirms PSPgo cancellation

New news from Japan is suggesting that SCEJ has now confirmed that it has stopped manufacturing the PSPgo.

Andriasang has translated information from audio visual site Phileweb claiming that "Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has formally announced an end to production and shipments for the PSPgo".

SCEJ has also added a "shipments ended" notice to online listings for the PSPgo on the Japanese PlayStation store.

Yesterday MCV exclusively revealed that UK retail has been told that it won’t be receiving any future stock of the device. SCE UK refused to clarify its demise, however, issuing a bizarrely noncommittal statement.
