Screenwriter Scott Frank is re-writing Assassin’s Creed movie

The writer behind the Wolverine movie, Get Shorty and Minority Report has been tasked with rewriting the Assassin’s Creed movie.

Polygon reports that a draft for the movie had already been written British playwright Michael Lesslie.

The film is currently scheduled for a June 2015 release and is due to star Michael Fassbender, whose previous films include Inglorious Basterds, Prometheus and X-Men: First Class.
