Scribblenauts eggstraordinary promotion

Special packs of eggs will be a key promotional tool for Warner Bros’ upcoming Super Scribblenauts. Yep, eggs.

The publisher has teamed up with Stonegate Eggs to create special branded cartons of Intelligent Eating Eggs, bearing artwork from the upcoming Nintendo DS sequel. This means lead character Maxwell and his ‘Rooster hat’ will head to supermarket aisles nationwide.

Consumers will be able to win a DSi and one of ten copies of the game by using their brainpower – apparently boosted by the Omega 3 found in eggs – to solve devious puzzles on a dedicated website.

Intelligent Eating Eggs is a great match for Super Scribblenauts, providing a clever link outside of our usual advertising arena,” said Warner Bros’ UK sales and marketing director Spencer Crossley.

Stocked nationwide in Waitrose, Intelligent Eating Eggs with Super Scribblenauts branding will allow us to reach new audiences and broaden the market for the game.”

Stonegate’s commercial director John Sayer added: The Super Scribblenauts promotion with Intelligent Eating Eggs works well for our product, which is designed to appeal to everyone with a health conscious mind.

Super Scribblenauts hits shelves on October 29th.
