‘Season Pass’ feature hits PSN marketplace

PS3 owners will soon be able to buy entire series of TV shows for a single lump sum on PSN.

The digital marketplace’s Video Unlimited section will as of today allow people to buy access to specific TV series, even if some episodes have yet to be released. Once purchased a series will take up residence in the My Videos section of PSN, from where they can be accessed.

Until now, users had to buy individual episodes separately.

To mark the new feature some TV series, such as The Walking Dead, are due to go on sale.

The Season Pass should be available on PS3, on mobile and on the PSN website shortly with a rollout planned on PS4, Bravia TVs and some Blu-ray players soon”.
