Shaun White promoted at EA UK

Electronic Arts has promoted Shaun White to lead its MCV Award-winning UK PR team.

White joined EA in 2005 and was most recently senior PR manager for EA Sports. His appointment as head of PR follows the departure of Simon Smith-Wright for the publisher’s Australian office.

He told MCV: It’s a fantastic opportunity and I’m delighted to be heading up a team that is both passionate and dedicated to delivering the strongest results possible.”

EA’s UK marketing director, Stuart Lang, added: I’m excited about Shaun’s plans for a department which will continue to raise the bar by delivering more efficient and impactful levels of media and customer engagement across all relevant channels.”

The EA PR team will be bolstered further over the coming weeks with the firm looking to appoint a replacement for White on Sports and for Jodie Van Hibb, who, like Smith-Wright, has moved to EA’s Australian office.
