Slender: The Arrival video game will be a commercial release

If you thought free to download PC game Slender: The Eight Pages was scary, then the next chapter in the Slenderman’s video game career could just finish you off.

Slender: The Arrival was revealed last week, but a few more detail about the game have been dug up.

It’s being jointly developed by Toronto’s Blue Isle Studios The Eight pages creator Mark Hadley’s Parsec Productions. It will feature more levels, greatly improved visuals and a fleshed out storyline.

We recently teamed up with Mark of Slender fame to work on a brand new version of the game,” Blue Isle stated.

Slender: The Arrival is the official re-imagining of the original release that will engage players with the same terrifying gameplay, while adding a complete gaming experience that the fans have been asking for.

We have been working closely with Mark over the past few weeks and we are really excited to deliver the best Slender game possible. The final version will include improved visuals, more content, more levels, and an engaging storyline to add to the Slender setting. The commercial release is planned to launch on PC in the coming months. We’ll provide more details on the game in the near future.”

Furthermore, unlike The Eight Pages, this release looks unlikely to be free and is being described as a commercial” release.
