SONY: GT5 due November 2nd

Gran Turismo 5 will finally hit shelves in the US on November 2nd, 2010.

The date was revealed at the end of a trailer shown during Sony’s E3 press conference, putting an end to years of speculation as to when the game would eventually emerge.

The trailer confirmed a number of features, as well as the inclusion of the Top Gear test track. The company once again confirmed that the game would feature 3D functionality.

GT5 has long since been one of the industry’s most anticipated games,” said Sony’s Jack Tretton.

When Gran Turismo launches in the US and Latin America on November 2nd, it will be fully playable in 3D with both gameplay modes on one Blu-ray disc.”
