SONY: New Sly Cooper confirmed

Sly Cooper will return to PlayStation consoles next year after what will be a seven-year gap since Sly 3.

As the fourth main entry in Sony’s action game series, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will arrive exclusively on PS3 in 2012.

Late last year the Sly Collection hit shelves – a PS3 bundle featuring three original Sly titles remade in HD and 3D with Move compatibility.

The first Sly game debuted on PS2 in 2002, with a sequel arriving in 2004. The latest main entry in the series, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, was released in September 2005.

Sly is a wily raccoon and master thief who teams up with his partners Bentley and Murray.
