Sony offering inFamous-bundled PS3

Sony is set to release a new PS3 bundle in the UK comprised of an 80GB SKU and a copy of the upcoming action title inFamous.

The bundle is the latest move in Sony’s aim to provide value to consumers without outright cutting hardware prices. Confirmed via an Amazon.co.uk listing, the package has an RRP of 299; currently the same price as an 80GB PS3 on its own.

inFamous – developed by the Bellevue, Washington-based outfit Sucker Punch – has seen steady levels of media exposure in recent weeks, with previews, reviews and demo-playing consumers all largely taking a positive view of the game.

The Bundle will be released on May 29, the same day as the game hits retail shelves.
