Sony’s Gaikai service bringing PS3 titles to PS4 and Vita in 2014

Sony has revealed its Gaikai-powered cloud-streaming service will launch in 2014, offering an initial selection of PS3 games for play on PS4, Vita, and Vita TV.

IGN reports on Sony’s roundtable interview at Tokyo Game Show, where Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida announced the service will debut in North America.

Yoshida referenced Netflix when discussing plans for the upcoming service, stating that the company won’t offer everything right away, but aims to include a solid number of titles at launch for consumers.

Beyond that, Yoshida had no other information on the service to provide and no specific window for a launch in Europe.
