Telltale’s Poker Night 2 to feature GlaDOS, Claptrap, and more

Following the success of The Walking Dead last year, and having recently announced Fables adaptation The Wolf Among Us, Telltale Games has now announced its follow-up to 2010’s Poker Night at the Inventory.

Poker Night 2 features characters from various popular game franchises, such as Claptrap from Borderlands, Brock Samson from The Venture Bros, Ash Williams from Army of Darkness, and Sam from Sam & Max. The icing on the cake – Portal’s GlaDOS will be overseeing your actions, dealing hands and wishing death upon all.

Poker Night 2 is another example of our ability to work with phenomenal partners and bring great characters to life in the gaming universe,” Telltale CEO and co-founder Dan Connors said.

It’s great to revisit our roots after the success of The Walking Dead. People might not know that we have a strong history of humour in our games and players are going to find a lot of laughs in Poker Night 2,” Connors added.

The game will be available digitally this month itself for PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3, with bonus ‘Bounty Unlocks’ for Team Fortress 2 and Borderlands 2, as well as PS3 themes and Xbox Live Avatar items to be earned by achieving special goals within the game.

Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2 is also set to arrive on other platforms, which the studio is yet to announce. Check out the announce trailer below.
