Tempo Storm recruits fighting game guru Chris G

One of Hearthstone’s leading eSports teams is striking out into the fighting genre.

Tempo Storm has recruited Marvel vs Capcom 3 specialist Christopher ‘Chris G’ Gonzales, who has a number of tournament wins, although the prestigious Evo crown has eluded him thus far – despite reaching four successive finals.

Gonzales is respected across many titles including Street Fighter IV Mortal Kombat, The King of Fighters XIII, Skullgirls and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Indeed, the move comes after the recent confirmation of a $250k prize kitty for this year’s Capcom Cup.

The Fighting Game Community shows a genuine passion for their games and has some of the most exciting events and personalities,” Tempo Storm boss Andrey ‘Reynad’ Yanuk said. ChrisG is a hardworking, high calibre player that we’re lucky to be working with, and I expect great things from him.”

ChrisG will turn out for the team for the first time later this month.
