Testology triumphs at MCV Games 5s

The games industry shed blood, sweat and tears yesterday at the PlayStation MCV Games 5s tournament.

And it was Testology that took away the top prize, besting Sports Interactive in the day’s tense finale 8-2.

The QA firm’s team left with glory, replica Jules Rimet trophies and goodie bags from event sponsor PlayStation.

Testology also won at the last MCV Games 5s back in 2010.

Game DC and Creative Assembly both made it through to the semi-finals.

Teams from Testology, Green Man Gaming, GAME, Future, Twitch, Rockstar, 2k, Mudvark, MCV, Creative Assembly, PlayWire Media, Freedman International, Attention Seekers, Ubisoft, NaturalMotion, PlayStation, Sports Interactive, Sega, Koch Media and Splash Damage all descended upon North London’s Barnet Powerleague for the event.

And yes, MCV did enter a side – one which followed the England team’s lead by failing to leave the group stage. But it’s the taking part that counts, right?
