Tetris Ultimate lands on 3DS in November

Upcoming Tetris update Tetris Ultimate will launch next month on Nintendo 3DS, publisher Ubisoft has announced.

The 3DS version includes four single-player Challenge modes: "Master" has Tetriminos drop instantly and appear at the bottom of the screen, "Rotation Lock" randomizes the orientations of the Tetriminos and freezes them in one position, "Escalation" has players clear additional lines as the game levels up, and "Invisible" makes the Tetriminos invisible as they fall.

The game will cost $29.99 at retail, with the digital version running $10 cheaper at $19.99 via the Nintendo eShop.

Tetris Ultimate is also in development for PS Vita, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It was originally scheduled to arrive across all platforms this past summer, but – with the exception of the 3DS edition – the game has since been pushed back to a winter release window.
