The Chinese Room’s Dan Pinchbeck is our guest on the third MCV & Develop Podcast

The MCV & Develop Podcast is back, and this time we’re joined by Dan Pinchbeck, creative director and studio head at The Chinese Room.

Pinchbeck’s award-winning studio is best known for its acclaimed titles such as Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture.

In our third episode, he shares his views on the current state of indie games, the alleged ‘indiepocalypse’ (more of an ice age, he says), and responds to Alex St John’s controversial comments on crunch.

Pinchbeck will be answering questions at our Interface event on Thursday, May 5th – that’s this week. If you’d like to suggest a question, email MCV editor Chris Dring viacdring@nbmedia.com. If you’d like to see Pinchbeck’s conference session, buy a ticket atwww.interface.events.

You can listen to the episode below, or download it for later. Alternatively you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, Pocket Casts and Player FM.

If you haven’t already, please check out our previous episodes withUKIE’s Dr Jo TwistandVR expert Dr Dave Ranyard.
