The DualShock 4 works on PS3… sort of

Is it exciting that you’re going to be able to use the PS4’s new DualShock 4 controller with your PS3?

The internet seems to think so. As discovered in a Computer Spiele video below, the DualShock 4 seems to work on PS3 providing it’s plugged in.

There are some caveats, though. While the YoUTube user was able to play Urban Trial Freestyle without any problems other games were less successful – FIFA, for example, seemed to be OK with the menus but failed to recognise commands in-game.

And obviously things like the touchpad don’t work at all.

It was revealed earlier this month that the DualShock 4 will work on PCs to a certain extent.
