The Last Story gets a North American release date at last

Xseed has announced The Last Story will finally launch in North America.

The action RPG is set to arrive August 14th on Wii for $49.99, the publisher toldIGN. It released in Europe some six months ago, and has been out for well over a year in Japan.

Pre-order is available through Gamestop, EB Games Canada, and Amazon, with a bonus soundtrack featuring seven tracks from legendary composer Nobou Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame for those who put down for the title ahead of time.

Regardless of when The Last Story is purchased, all players will receive the limited edition version that offers custom packaging and a softcover art book.
