The long, long, long wait for the next generation of consoles is very nearly over.

Sony will tonight, barring a Mayan-style global disaster, reveal the PlayStation 4 to an audience of international journalists in New York.

What, you can’t make it to The Big Apple in the next 13 hours? Fear not – you can watch the whole thing right here.

Of course we don’t know for sure how much will or will be not revealed (although we’ve had a damn good guess) but at the very least the ball should at last start rolling on the next (and who knows, final?) generation of dedicated home consoles.
