Top 100 Women in Games: Emma Simkiss

Simkiss was responsible for building up one of the biggest games networks in the world – Xbox Live Gold – as business manager for two years, before jumping ship to Sony last October to become senior manager for PlayStation Plus.

Alongside three colleagues, she also helped form the Women of Xbox group, which organised training and development opportunities, as well as hosting talks aimed at addressing challenges faced by those in games.

Simkiss calls the group’s work ‘enlightening’.
