Toy Soldiers: War Chest lands next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Signal Studio’s Toy Soldiers series has been picked up by publisher Ubisoft, with the two companies announcing Toy Soldiers: War Chest for release in 2015.

The new partnership will allow the franchise to make its PlayStation debut, as Signal Studio’s previous two Toy Soldiers titles had been published by Microsoft and tied to Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

"[In War Chest] gamers of all ages can play as and face off against toys familiar to them from their childhoods to recreate the battles from their imaginations," Signal’s founder D.R. Albright said. "Fans will have a great time learning how each army plays and the individual strengths of their troops and weapons."

Albright added that the developer’s new deal with Ubisoft allows the studio to create the game it has always envisioned.”

Toy Soldiers: War Chest will launch at some point next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
