Hotline Miami comes to PS4 next week

The original Hotline Miami is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 on August 19th, publisher Devolver Digital has announced.

A post on the US PlayStation blog reveals the PS4 version will carry some updates from the previously released versions, including added support for the DualShock 4 controller.

PS4 owners can shake the controller to finish off enemies, and the peripheral’s touchpad allows players to look for and lock onto enemies – making it slightly easier to navigate around levels.

The game will likely carry the same $9.99 price as the PS3 and Vita versions, but will be offered free via Sony’s cross-buy program for those who own the game on either of the other PlayStation platforms.

Hotline Miami’s sequel Wrong Number is still in development for launch later this year on PC, Mac, Linux, PS3, PS4 and Vita hardware.
