Turbulence at Frogster

Publisher Frogster has confirmed in a short and rather bizarre press release that it has separated itself” from three core members of its senior management team.

Acting CFO Ralf Klppel and board member Bjrn Koschin have been recalled with immediate effect” while Frogster America CEO Lars Koschin has been relieved of his duties”.

Mystery surrounds the moves for the time being.

Earlier this month online games publisher Gameforge, which is the former employer of both Kloppel and Lars Koschin, increased its offer for a potential takeover for the firm.

Its current proposal will remain on the table until October 22nd. Should the deal be completed, Gameforge has pledged to maintain Frogster’s independence, reiterating that the potential move should be perceived as a friendly” takeover.
